eSIM GuidesTroubleshooting

My eSIM won't connect to the internet. How do I fix it?

Quick answer

In almost every case the fix is one of three things: turn ON Data Roaming for the Movia line, set the Movia eSIM as your mobile data line, and confirm the APN is correct. Toggling Airplane Mode for 10 seconds forces a fresh network search.

If your eSIM installed fine but you have no data at your destination, work through this checklist in order. 95% of connection problems are fixed by the first two steps.

Fix checklist

  1. Turn ON Data Roaming for the Movia line. The eSIM is roaming on a local network, so roaming must be enabled (it won't incur extra charges — your plan is prepaid).
  2. Set Movia as the Mobile Data line in your cellular settings.
  3. Check the APN matches the one in your confirmation email.
  4. Toggle Airplane Mode on, wait 10 seconds, turn it off.
  5. Manually select a network: Settings → Cellular → Network Selection → off → pick a carrier.
Still nothing after all five steps? Reply to your order email and our support team will help — do not delete the eSIM, as it cannot be reinstalled.
