I accidentally deleted my eSIM — can I get it back?

Quick answer

A deleted eSIM cannot be re-scanned or reinstalled, because the QR code is single-use. Never delete an active eSIM. If it happened, contact Movia support right away — depending on the supplier we may be able to re-issue it.

eSIM QR codes are single-use for security. Once installed, the profile lives on your phone and the QR can't be scanned again — so deleting the profile usually means it's gone.

What to do

  1. Stop and don't buy a replacement yet.
  2. Reply to your Movia order confirmation email with your order number.
  3. Our team checks with the supplier whether a re-issue is possible.
Prevention: when your trip ends and the data is used up, you can delete the profile safely. Only delete eSIMs you're finished with.
