How do I install my eSIM?
After purchase, you'll receive an email with a QR code. Go to Settings β Cellular β Add eSIM β Scan QR Code. The whole process takes under 5 minutes.
When does my data plan start?
Your plan starts when you first connect to a network at your destination β not when you purchase or install. Install before your trip and activate when you land.
Can I use my regular SIM and the eSIM at the same time?
Yes. Keep your home SIM for calls and texts, and use Movia eSIM for data. Both work simultaneously β just set Movia as your mobile data line.
Can I share data with other devices (hotspot)?
Yes, tethering is supported. Enable Personal Hotspot (iPhone) or Wi-Fi Hotspot (Android) and connect your other devices.
Does my phone need to be unlocked?
Yes. Your device must be SIM-free or carrier-unlocked to use an eSIM. Contact your carrier if you're unsure.
Can I use my eSIM on more than one device?
No. Each eSIM can only be installed on one device, and the QR code can only be scanned once. Use tethering to share data with other devices.
What if I accidentally delete my eSIM?
A deleted eSIM cannot be reinstalled. Do not delete it. If this happens, contact our support team for assistance.
Do I need to create an account?
