Tethering lets one Movia eSIM cover your phone, laptop, and a travel companion's device. Since each eSIM only installs on one device, hotspot is the official way to share data.
Turn on hotspot
- Make sure your phone's active data line is the Movia eSIM.
- iPhone: Settings → Personal Hotspot → Allow Others to Join.
- Android: Settings → Network & Internet → Hotspot & tethering → Wi-Fi hotspot.
- Connect your other device to the hotspot's Wi-Fi name and password.
Hotspot uses data faster (laptops stream and update more). Pick a larger plan if you'll tether often.
